- the recognition that Omicron "was NOT much not less dangerous than the previous variants" - an incredibly significant point considering the widespread belief that with Omicron Covid became 'mild' and basically 'a cold' and that all variants since are classified as sub-variants of Omicron.

The means of tackling outbreaks have been dismantled and a narrative of helplessness and denial has been created. Alongside staggering corruption.

100% this. We think one of the most effective tools against sickness is ensuring our air is free of pollutants, including pathogens. The government seem to think punitive measures on sick people are the answer. Of course they're not. Tackle the root causes.

Thank you for highlighting this again, Natalie. We know multiple outbreaks of zoonotic viruses are in the pipeline. Most seem to be airborne for obvious reasons. A piecemeal approach isn't working. Proper public health measures do.

I suspect the only party that has a policy on Covid and Long Covid is the @greenparty.org.uk #plaidwerdd. But we need pushing on it. Reminding. Informing. Nagging, even. Tell your local representative you know about it and expect action.
