Many of our members have suffered long term harm from #viral infections and they recognise that the threat from #Covid is ongoing. To prevent widespread damage, we need to mitigate against infection. #ffp3, #ventilate #cleanair is a human right.

I want people to be aware that we are living through a mass disabling event and that we must continue to put pressure on the government to make people aware of the risks, and to implement mitigation measures to reduce the spread of this deadly, disabling virus. #Healthcare should not be where people go to get sick. We advocate #ventilation, air cleaning measures and the wearing of proper #respirator masks, e.g. #ffp3.

Shared, unventilated spaces are ideal conditions for the transmission of #Covid and other airborne diseases. We need #CleanWater and we need #CleanAir

#Covid and #flu are different but we should be reducing the transmission of all airborne diseases. Good public health measures for Covid, such as #ventilation and wearing proper #respirator #masks, also reduce flu and would stop it surging every winter.

We often hear 'the #pandemic' in the past tense, but #covid infections are causing massive harm to health and economies. Reduce risk through #ventilation, #filtration and wearing an ffp2 or #ffp3 respirator mask. These actions reduce the likelihood of all airborne infections.

We are not powerless against infections. #Flu is on the rise in the UK and hospitals are full. #Covid is always circulating. Wearing an #FFP3 respirator mask in shared, indoor spaces can reduce the likelihood of getting infected.

We can reduce the number of #Covid and all airborne disease infections this winter by considering the safety of our gatherings.

Hold them online or outdoors. #Ventilate spaces. Keep CO2 levels below 800ppm. Run air purifiers. Wear respirator masks.

There are millions of #LongCovid sufferers in the UK. Presumably they're 'not being referred for treatment' because their GPs have no idea what to do and there's nowhere to refer them.
"Due to the very low numbers of patients with long COVID now being referred for treatment, NHS Frimley has taken the decision to no longer operate dedicated long COVID services. As of 18 March 2025, patients presenting with symptoms that may be linked to long COVID will be referred, depending on their symptoms, to other available services, including chronic fatigue services, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and mental health services such as talking therapies."
