Haiyan was one of the deadliest typhoon ever recorded in modern history, killing over 6,300 people and displacing millions.

On Sunday (2/11/2025), Greenpeace South Asia carried out the giant Polluters' Climate Bill in Podampeta, in Ganjam district of Odisha, India, where the community has been facing severe sea-level rise, repeated cyclones, coastal erosion, forcing people to relocate multiple times over the years.
