The world is my home, Nature is my guide, let’s hope we can all work together to keep each other safe and well, while ensuring the health and vitality of the natural systems that support us.
Had some visitors - a flock of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos, the other day, they are sitting in one of their favourite trees - a Drooping Sheoak - Allocasuarina verticillata, these birds are large and prefer the seeds of Banksias and Sheoaks, but will make use of Pine nuts when necessary #birds

My favourite local bird - the tiny male Superb Blue Wren, this male is displaying full breeding ‘blue’ plumage, these birds are such a delight, they are so tiny, but very ‘busy’ and constantly chatting… #birds #nature #wildlife

#Nature is a powerful force on this planet, gardening is a positive way to interact with it, if you care about plants and their allies (insects, birds and other animals) and look after them, you are rewarded with simple beauty and a sense of calmness and acceptance of what is and what can be.

My sunset visit to my local beach this evening, and it was - beautiful. We are in a drought situation here at the moment, had a few drops of rain this morning but skies cleared (unfortunately) and rain didn’t eventuate, but then there was this beautiful sunset. #sunsets #oceans #naturephotography

Leaving home the other day, came across this large male Western Grey kangaroo, things are very dry here at the moment and wildlife is desperate for grazing options - #wildlife #nature #NaturePhotography

Leaving home yesterday and came across this Grey Kangaroo having a morning snack on the side of my local road, things have been extremely dry, experiencing serious drought here in South Australia and local wildlife struggling to find enough food… all grass is dead or dying, we need rain soon
