Blatantly violating the law, blatantly violating rights, and blatantly lying, right to your faces. And seeming to enjoy it. Not only the cruelty, but also how so much of the reaction—from the press, courts, public, etc—still, somehow still, takes their words at face value, as if bad faith were good.
