Did you know?
2025 was the third hottest year on record, and the last 11 years are the warmest ever. Oceans absorbed 90% of the extra heat, fueling stronger storms, heavier floods & marine die-offs.
This isn't "weather", it's our planet screaming. Time to listen.

The misconception that renewable energy is costlier than fossil fuels is outdated.

Since 2010, solar and wind energy costs have plummeted due to technological advancements, making #ClimateAction more affordable.

If you find the divisiveness unsettling how can you prevent yourself from adding to it in your reactions?

First: when you feel a fire lit inside you, pause before taking action.

Second: calm your own nervous system by breathing.

Third: consider the pain of the “other”, recognize our humanity!

Heat impacts mental health making people more irritable, reactive and generally stressed. If you’re working in AC can you invite outdoor workers in for “cold breaks” or take cold water out to those whose work is outdoors, gardeners, road workers etc? A simple act of kindness helps us all…

Don’t be alone with your concerns about the world, join a group, preferably in person, for the joy of connection, for a sense of purpose and for collective power! It feeds great mental health and Jane Fonda is a fine example of that. As a therapist who facilitates groups I can attest to their power.

Thank you and well done to all those who were able to show up and protest the latest destructive ICE actions and funding cuts to our scientific community. The huge numbers are evidence that you are not alone if you’re upset about the inhumane actions of this administration, see below.
