I generally use Bluesky to blow off steam, to conduct open chat (No DMs) & to watch the world. I’m also pretty open minded, I like a lot and don’t have an agenda (unless I’m angry, but I try not to be.)

Because Castleing can be so damn soothing. Just sitting on top of a ruined keep observing the countryside and pondering about the fate of the world.

I’ve walked, climbed and just plain visited all of them, in all seasons. They are beautiful little corners of wilderness in Britain and, imo, so is coastal Cornwall & the rest of SW England.
The Lake District has a similar quality to Snowdonia and the Scottish Highlands, yet they all have their own unique qualities. All three are my favourite places on earth.

History. You don't know it's happening until it's happening.

THE most important lesson of studying history is often the most difficult to teach: people didn't know what was going to happen.

For much of my teaching life, that claim didn't register. But in months after 9/11, Fall 2020, now. It does.
