I would never think that 😅 I just thought there had been discourse about Adele's output generally (RITD was definitely her peak for me).

I absolutely loved it at the time but this has slightly cooled over the years I have to admit. That said, it may still make my list. Are you talking about the song or the artist?

I think we might have chatted about this before Colin. What did you think of the gig? I think the tensions in band were there to see with hindsight.

Only went to my one gig in the King's Hall a year earlier. Blur November 1995. My first gig in a larger venue and it sort of put me off them to this day.

Really brave writing Nathan. The incredible power of music crystallised.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on Marty Supreme. I loved it. A career-defining performance from Timothée Chalamet in my opinion. That said, my dad wasn't a fan 🤷

Oof!

We couldn't find screenings that suited everyone last week at the QFT and there isn't a later show tonight so reluctantly going to the Omniplex instead.

We're watching Marty Supreme as a family tonight. One of those rare films that I'm hoping all five of us will enjoy.

Amazingly we had around 300 despite it only being announced that it was going ahead at the very last minute.

The core team at Stormont managed to keep it on with a few slight adjustments to the usual course. Have you done Orangefield before Martin? It's tough enough in normal conditions.

Seeing it tomorrow. Can't wait.

Cheers Chris. I still need to catch up on a lot of this year's releases but Nickel Boys is my favourite so far.

Blackburn Rovers: A Year of Transfer Window Mismanagement
When Blackburn Rovers fans look back on the past year, the conversation around recruitment often centres on the quality of incoming players.

I read about that the other day. It was in the Guardian's best 2025 films in the US (it was number 10). What did you think of it?

What was the mystery film you saw at the QFT Colin?
December 28, 2025 at 1:56 PM
We're going on the second. Wasn't quick enough to get tickets for the Monday. Something to look forward to going back to school 😅

Are you going to see her at Custom House Square Chris?
December 28, 2025 at 11:40 AM
I feel like I saw The Subway more than the others but I would be happy with any of the three.

I love seeing these community cinema screenings pop up on my FB feed (yes, I still have FB!)

Cheers Arron. Very much enjoying the parade and accompanying playlist. Lots of discoveries on my part.

How close was The Narcissist to making it out of interest?
December 24, 2025 at 7:39 AM
You can't leave us hanging like this Colin!
December 23, 2025 at 10:45 PM
Yes, they do both as well. I miss the days when you could do two different parkruns on NYD 😂
