Farage on Radio 4 accusing the BBC of bias is the highest form of trolling

Charles Moore coming out with some deranged shit on BBC Radio 4. news here is obvious bias in the BBC but it certainly does not originate in the metropolitan left.

‘If you tax the rich they will all leave the country’ say, eh, rich people.
Just tax them already. Wealth comes from exploiting the labour of the economically vulnerable. Wealth is essentially abuse. We’re better off without.

The Trump / Blair plan is a return to the paternalistic colonialism that gave us the Balfour declaration and will, in time, come to be seen as just as clumsy and destructive. The idea that only a white anglocentric elite can govern Palestine is as abhorrent as it is risible.

So Blair and Kushner’s solution to a colonial occupied is . . . a colonial occupation?

Pencil drawing of the Water of Leith in Edinburgh. Easy to forget to make art in the face of the systematic eradication of Palestine so while this might look anodyne and apolitical it’s shot through with rage at US and European enabling of the zionist project. Free Palestine

but, but, David Lammy says . . .
This afternoon, a British A400M military plane flew from RAF Akrotiri, UK base on Cyprus, to Tel Aviv

The A400M can carry 116 troops and a 81,600 lbs payload

If you’re British, that’s where your tax money is going 💰⬇️

@regretteruane.bsky.social I met your lover yesterday, wearing some things I left at your place. Singing a song that means a lot to me. I’ve known a certain grace.

When the British government recognised Irish statehood in the Government of Ireland Act, 1920 it did not grant legitimacy to any Irish insurgent party and none of the political parties that went on to govern even existed. Statehood is not contingent on any party political position

Dear BBC. Hamas is not Palestine. Pushing the narrative that Palestinian statehood can be conditional on what Hamas does or doesn’t do is asinine. Like saying British statehood is conditional on the actions of the Tories.

‘What will recognising Palestine achieve?’ Is fast becoming the new ‘Do you denounce what happened on October 7th?’. A purely performative way of closing down discussion.

Absolutely unhinged meltdown by David Mencer, the Israeli government representative, on Radio 4 at the minute accusing Nick Robinson of lying while brazenly lying himself

The UK government cutting aid to Palestinians by 21% at a time when they face starvation for the express purpose of spending that money on weapons tells you everything you need to know about the UK government.

I see we’re moving from the ‘it’s not a genocide’ to the ‘those aren’t concentration camps’ phase of fascism now.

I see we’re calling concentration camps ‘humanitarian transit areas’ nowadays.

Pro-Israel lobby groups have donated to 13 of Labour’s 25 cabinet members.
Recipients include Yvette Cooper, Britain's home secretary. She in turn wants to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation & to criminalise its supporters.

So the government of the country that let the UDA wantonly kill catholics for 21 years before proscribing it, which has still not proscribed Britain First, one of whose acolytes killed a sitting MP, is going to proscribe Palestine Action for chucking a few tins of red paint? That how this is going?
