you can even mod them and put custom software on them by the massively complex act of... copying a file onto them.

to answer all your questions in order:

they're not the same? it's an XY problem, the "just use d&d" solution is a strictly worse one.

yes, they are, if they're your regular play group. the gun is "not being able to play ttrpgs, or find a new group"

and of course i would? how else would you play?

i can't remember why printing and hand binding the pdf was cheaper than just buying the printed edition, must have had access to a lotta free printing a decade ago.

my favourite thing about the avatar sequels is that they're the result of a 16 year vendetta against the other more successful and beloved elemental-based avatar series.

so cameron is naming & theming the sequels after the elements. because he's still so mad that atla took his name first.

(i've been arranging a camping trip to a dark sky preserve around watching them for like. the past few years, since lockdowns lifted basically. the weekend's never the actual peak, but it's always good.)

yo, they'll still be pretty good for the next few days too! technically the perseids last from like... mid july to the end of august, this is just the "peak" day. the ZHR'll just be like. 120/hr instead of 160+/hr
