I was always telling that russia is not interested in peace and will never negotiate in good faith.
They want to start "talks" to distract and coerce the western powers to slow down or suspend deliveries of weapons to Ukraine.

I am highly entertained by the idea of UA trading access to rare earths. Most of those deposits are in contested areas, so the US would have to help reconquer them. Win win
