Went to the rally in Fort Atkinson with a friend. Of course it’d be cool to show up in Madison or Milwaukee where it’s much bigger but it’s also important to shore up those numbers in smaller cities and towns. Roughly 600 people showed up by the time we left (if the counting was right)!

Went to my small town’s Pride rally. These sort of events are super important especially in our current political/cultural moment. It’s an important reminder that there’s more of us and in more places than you think.

It's that fundamental lack of respect for Black people as their equals that gives them the audacity to play and poison the well. It's a show of domination to them. They have no interest in engaging with us except in ways that try to dominate and dehumanize us.
