This game has a lot of understated positive queer representation that I think deserves more credit in general but this is by far the funniest example of it.

I think that even with the additional fursuit context aside it's completely unrealistic and imo downright unhealthy to expect people to remember individual interactions in an environment among hundreds, if not thousands, of people, and this is literally why we wear badges at cons and such.
