Playing with Python scripting in #blender and you can make some nifty #3dmodeling tools with it!
Whipped up a script that takes the front, back, and spine of any of my books and spits out a 3D model for me that I can use in promo shots and videos.

How would you go about creating something like this? I know Blender might work, just trying to figure out what the easiest path to accomplish this is

I do love a clear laptop case as I can use my fun stickers without having to, you know, ruin them by sticking them on something and doing it wrong and wasting a sticker

This also gave me a really wonderful chance to streamline the #Etherscouts identity and, I guess, "lore" a bit.
