Now that I've graduated and am looking for work, I'm a bit tight on money, sooo I decided to try something I've wanted to do since I was a kid:

I picked a tawny owl bc I’m trying to get more acquainted with the birds where I live :) And I think they look a bit creepy with their black eyes!
I tried a bit of dry brushing with the gouache this time, and I like the effect :)

I tend to make very safe color choices, so I want to keep testing surprising colors. I think the green makes him look like a cute lil alien :)
Also, this is one of my first times using gouache. I’m not sure I did it right, but I think I like the texture?

Yay, I finished another colorful cat painting!

I made this collage of a crab for a class and I remember it taking soooo long!! I think the flowers betray that it was made ~2016 😝 I still think it looks pretty cool though!

Doodles from a thesis workshop yesterday. I really liked my little mohawk guy from a few days ago so I drew them again :) I felt bad that I drew them unhappy tho, so I drew them having a nice time as well hahaha
