I won't let you take them

I did happen across an old project where I was experimenting with making a configurable neon glow button. Not great for accessibility, but it's neat at least!

Just finished actually submitting to my first "jam", solo! Glad I could finally use UI/UX for something this "practical."

Anyway, here's my entry for the badux.lol World Cup!

Made it pretty quick, but haven't touched it since and had to be convinced to post it...

I had started making some little props for a silly little game, but it probably won't get done in time for the jam. Oh, well, I still think it'll be a fun idea (you get to break stuff)

who filled my pool with Baja Blast™??

Testing out custom LODs in Godot! The only super noticeable change (to me) is the very lowest detail level.

Noooooo

(I wish this app would let me add a custom warning label for flickering lights!)

A horrendous idea I had was to add a secret toggle that will activate all render layers on the player camera so you have to live with the flickering mess I have hidden from you hehehe

Here's a little gameplay! The map is coming along very well, but windows and doors are gonna do wonders for the feeling of it.

The mesh for the mini-map is imported as a glTF, while the main level mesh is updated only in Blender!

I haven't posted a ton of my work lately (and I've been working on A LOT), so here's tonight's little shader/camera experiment!

A mini-map in Godot 4.4 that uses render layers, SubViewport, and a shader that highlights the map based on the player's physical position/elevation!

This evening's coding adventure, brought to you by SvelteKit and my brain. I'm very new to SCP lore.

Oops... Well, I'll live and die as a trope lol

I've been practicing more industrial hard-surface design recently. Decided to create this fun light component that updates the lights and emission shader live in the editor, per instance!

I'm sure there's negative performance implications to this, but it was fun!

Why am I like this??
February 17, 2025 at 7:47 PM
I was creating a new startup scene, and now I can't get any work done because I'm just sitting here for hours orbiting this stupid cube every time I open Blender. Why does my brain like it so much??

We're getting somewhere. I need to smooth out that ending quite a bit, but I setup the recentering weird, so it'll take some fiddling.

I'm basically just using an empty object in the distance to point the gun towards, and animating the influence to recenter the the barrel.

I was studying character/weapon rigging and animation again, and capture this by pure chance lol

We're getting somewhere!

Retopo completed! Not my cleanest work, but I didn't wanna spend like a week on this. A major improvement on what was there, though!

Time for UVs!

I'm loving the updated Gabor noise in Blender 4.3! I thought this looked nice as a wall decoration in a test level I'm making. Retopo on this is gonna be a pain, though.
