The Northgate station, one stop north, is bordered by a highway on one side and 1-4 blocks of parking lots on all others. There isn't even a continuous sidewalk that allows you to access the Target a few blocks away.

It's probably no longer the case due to tech workers being able to work from home, but for a solid decade, the median income of Seattle transit riders was HIGHER THAN the metro median income. It's just the best way to get around!
