Two of the players are brand new to pf2 and they just leveled up to level 2. At the beginning of the dungeon there is a level 3 Grick. This is considered a moderate encounter for their level. Problem was my players were rolling like dog water while I got three nat 19s on three separate turns

He revealed himself to be Saturday, the head leader of the Septimana. Not only that, he was in fact Charles, the kindly man they had assisted on the side of the road. He told them he meant what he said on the road and was trying to create a better world. He had seen how the world would end

The party was imprisoned and came to the realization that the woman who assassinated the emperor was Friday, one of the leaders of the secret organization called the Septimana who had been working against them from the start. They didn't have much time to ruminate as Count Elias approached them

Welp gotta get right back on that horse. Meet my new character: Althaia, a Justice Champion of Arazni. She served Sarenrae faithfully for many years before a former bandit she redeemed and befriended betrayed her and killed her entire temple. She swore never to let criminals escape justice again

The party decided that it would be best for them to rest outside the cave to avoid the Mala Otra. This proved to not work out in their favor when a large horse like creature assaulted their camp in the night

Black hole before being ripped apart. The party then found to their horror that they were not alone and were immediately attacked by strange creatures that seemed to emit a disconcerting song.

Eventually they arrived at the gate. After much discussion they walked through it to a new area that they remember seeing on their last visit here. They found themselves in the middle of a ruined city with floating cars

The players had just recovered their memories and reclaimed their true selves (well other than seeker). They made their way out of the casino and were immediately approached by two Dabus, strange creatures that serve the lady of pain.

The creature seemed to look like a particularly large and nasty crocodile with the ability to channel lightning. The fight was brutal with the Animist nearly getting taken out and the goblin bard being swallowed whole.

The next day the party came across a small lake where the object of their search was being attacked by a vicious creature. The party were taken with the cat creature's cuteness and rushed to his defense whereupon the monster attacked them.

At this point they also reunited with a friend of theirs named Caisu (the new player) a kitsune Oracle of Pharasma. Old Matsuki was grateful they were unharmed but needed their help. He said there were a few things that needed doing in this crisis.

With a giant Neothelid guarded by some more Mind Flayer Arcanists. The party fought quite bravely despite taking a hammering. The cleric narrowly avoided being feebleminded by the Neothelid and the Bladesinger wizard absolutely devastated the enemies with a steel wind strike.

And lastly we have Merrick a half-elf halfling Druid who spends most of his time isolated from others in his wilderness cabin with his trusty badger companion Cinder whom he rescued from a fire when he was just a pup.

Next we have Otoko, an 8 year-old automaton who was crafted by respected artisan and inventor Tian-Zhe. An inventor himself, Otoko has struggled to fit into the community and be accepted but his work with Tian-Zhe on the local dam has done a lot to earn people’s respect if not their full trust

Next we have Otoko, an 8 year-old automaton who was crafted by respected artisan and inventor Tian-Zhe. An inventor himself, Otoko has struggled to fit into the community and be accepted but his work with Tian-Zhe on the local dam has done a lot to earn people’s respect if not their full trust
The first of our heroes is Akira, a Duskborn Elf who fell from the sky when she was a kid. She is a sorcerer who was adopted by an influential merchant family with many children. She was also mentored by a reclusive wizard within the town of Willowshore

As a show of good faith, Acheron offered to answer any of his questions with the stipulation that some questions were not hers to answer and it was just as much to protect him as herself. Strigus wanted to know what he was doing before he lost his memories

Mr. Golden Arm. Strigus then kept watch alone while Lucienne slept. During his watch, his patron, a mysterious woman named Acheron appeared and demanded to know why he still didn’t trust after all the help she had given him. Strigus replied that he didn’t know who’s side she was truly on yet

Last but not least our ranger had the worst luck and ended up in the dungeons of Viktra Mordenheim, the darklord of Lamordia. Viktra knew the ranger from a time before the player lost her memories. Apparently they used to be lovers and Viktra gave her a few body modifications

Our newest addition, another warlock, woke up in a creepy town inhabited by sentient Marionettes who accused him of violating the law and tried to arrest him. When he resisted, they tried to put him down violently but he was assisted by this Marionette who seemed to have more individuality

Anyway the first player, our resident Undead Warlock found themselves trapped on an operating table in the middle of an auditorium being overseen by this guy (That's Malus Thorm from BG3 in case you didn't know) With his patron's help he managed to escape out the window relatively unharmed
