The irony is that these people are doing exactly what they say the trans rights movement and the left more broadly are doing: living in a fantasy that allows them to scold people for not saying the right words in the right way rather than addressing the reality of the situation.

Whenever I try to envision what happens next in the world where the left acts exactly how these people want, down to even random posts on Bluesky, the idea that that world will not be if anything far more hostile to trans people is laughably naive, but no one ever asks these people that question!

and somehow trans people and the left and liberals all collectively agree to ban all trans people from sports and ban all youth care, what do you think happens next? Like do you think the right will say "great job" and never talk about taking away trans rights again?

This does get dicey if I cave on getting a switch 2, but that's a once every two or three years purchase (new console I mean, new Nintendo is obviously a much longer time span)
