I think some people feel obligated to play games they already have some dislike towards so they can "credibly" hate it and yeah it's just not worth it. but at the same time I think we need to stop insisting that you can't dislike or criticize any elements of a game you haven't played lol

a 1 hour play session sometimes feels like you genuinely did nothing with your time and made no progress. it's agonizing and seriously makes me not want to touch the game again unless I'm guaranteed to be able to set aside like a whole day for it

I won’t act like they always need that aspect to be good, I mean DDS1 and 2 are some of my fav games ever, and there’s obvs tons I love about these games besides those mechanics. it’s just a massive draw to me and something that I think should remain integral to its identity
