Can't recommend Chris' work highly enough. I've been amazed with what he's been able to uncover in each report. Especially after I'd hit dead ends with my own efforts.
Well, I am finally over the hump of work in writing my next book, and I have found ways to offload a couple of other things in my life, so capacity has opened up again. My research work for private clients is back in business and open for orders! www.fourteeneighteen.co.uk

Genuinely feel a bit of a fraud given that I've managed to gather a couple of hundred followers merely as a result of being a @greatwargroup.bsky.social war bore! I'm very an enthusiastic amateur rather than a real historian of #WW1 but grateful nonetheless.

Hugely lucky with my travels in 2023. 3 visits to Germany including Valhalla (Regensburg), Hannover and a humbling visit to Dachau. A new country - Montenegro. And return to the Somme post COVID. 🇫🇷🇩🇪🇲🇪
