we started going big on our decorations that year to try to raise the bar even more, and for the last three halloweens have listened to the ghostbusters theme song for 3 hours straight.

it had always been my dream to one day reach Mr. Rogers’ legendary halloween status.
so in 2021 i did it, 50 huge ass candies which were stupidly expensive, which we gave away in like an hour, but had kids losing their minds. In 2022, we upped it to 75.

Oh just spent the night trying to find a costume of Derpy the supernatural tiger from 'Kpop Demon Hunters' at the request of my 6-year-old daughter, realized there wasn't one, so spent hours contemplating whether I could turn a blue tiger mascot costume from China into one.

this was kind of impossible to do, could’ve easily had 100 movies on this ballot, so i leaned toward the rewatchables. i’ve seen all of these no less than 10 times each. highly recommend!
