My 31 y/o Developmentally Disabled daughter just got a letter from SSI ordering her to repay them $292 in overpaid benefits because their staff is literally months behind in entering her self-reported wages. If you believe this bullshit about 150 y/o recipients, I have a hotel in Gaza to sell you.

Are you telling me that a system that religiously queries my disabled daughter’s TWO bank accounts MONTHLY to ensure she hasn’t accumulated more than $2000, (and immediately adjust her benefits if she does) just randomly pays benefits to 150 year-olds? get the fuck out of here with that bullshit.

Currently on a cruise with a line with a live and let live vibe. Got on the elevator with a couple that were speaking English but with a European accent. I thanked them for pushing my floor number. The gentleman said, “You’re welcome. Are you ok? You look sad.” 🧵

I’m currently at O’Hare in Chicago getting ready to fly to San Juan. Walking to my gate, I’m struck by the beauty of the diversity of people and I cannot understand how literally ANYONE cannot see that as a strength. Why are we so broken? 😞

I stopped shopping at @Target years ago when upon entering I was assaulted by the smell of burnt coffee and a mini Dollar Tree maze. So no big loss here.
