Do I even want to know why anyone needs to know how tight their skin is?

Wow, FY. You made such a brave retort and I really learned a real lesson today.

You must really be proud of yourself.

So this is what you consider “confronting the reality of labor conditions” - and then you threw a tantrum over the use of “lol”? Grow up dude. You made a silly point and people disagreed with you. Such is adult life.

May be… MAY be…

Hmmmm….

So hard to overcome that tech worship to state that junk is obviously junk.

Can’t wait to see how Ed-Tech thought leaders jump all over this article as “proof” they were right about Ai all along.

“It looks like you are trying to disable your Ai Work Flow Monitor. HR has been contacted.”

Visualizing a dream you had one night is different than using Ai for work projects. I used to draw dreams for people (for real). Our recollection of dreams is sketchy and no where near the accuracy needed to complete a work project.

Resorting to BS retorts like “you don’t want to end suffering” is a serious logical fallacy. Just ignore the recent research into the negative impacts of current Ai use for some vague promise of someday ending some kind of suffering? Even though Ai rarely comes through on promises? No thanks.

So far, Ai has done little to reduce suffering, while on the other hand it is generally found to decrease productivity, increase harmful behaviors, destroy the environment, drag down power grids, gotten a few people killed, etc. It is generally unpopular w/ workers because it sucks most of the time.

I’m now off to record 100,000 videos of me reading about their product. Which counts as a crime because they are stealing my joy. At least I should get paid for it.

Deepen our understanding of the game? Yeah, for all the times I was lost because I had no idea what was going on with Anthony Davis’ right shoulder…

Bots and a distant cousin of mine that seem particularly outraged by the new logo at a place he hadn’t eaten at in 20 years.

Claims that they are the first to think outside the box, promising they will transform your whole life, so many shots on slowmo of the leaders sitting in random places looking thoughtful, vary few details about how anything works, and random shots of happy people doing... something

reading through @audreywatters.bsky.social newsletters today (I'm a bit behind), and her mention of Christian Nationalism reminded me why the Matter and Space videos bug me: the style totally reminds me of the videos that churches I used to go to created all the time...

Oh never mind - I was partially wrong. The problematic short was removed, but the individual videos from the founders were edited down to one video that keeps the quotes that are most problematic from an educational theory standpoint.
