Taking photos of Taqhuitz Rock on Monday, I joked about getting frostbite. Little did I know that Search & Rescue teams had just finished a 3-day mission extracting 2 hikers from Taqhuitz after falling in the middle of a storm. These are the true heroes who deserve our deep thanks for their service

I've heard lots of discussion about fires being started by the unhoused. One more reason to find them appropriate help. But I've never heard of anyone at SDGE, PGE or SCE being arrested for their faulty power lines that cause major fires like the Eaton Fire.
