The early nesters are calling all over the Forest with Crossbills, Siskin, Coal Tit, Great Spot Woodpecker, Goldcrest, LTT, Nuthatch, Great Tit and other common species

North Yorkshire today complete extremes in the weather. The lowlands shrouded by fog yet bright sunshine on the tops.
A decent walk along the NYM was birdless and obviously no Raptors on the Moors.
