One thing I really like about being part of early days on #leaflet is that I am atop the "Recently Published" section of the Reader for a non-trivial amount of time after posting. Does a lot to help you feel like you're not shouting into the void.

New tooling in #godot for #screenshotsaturday! Moved all the janky tool code for mapping structure meshes to data into a nice little addon, complete with custom editor dock + gizmos. Took a min to wrap my head around it but once I figured it out it's been a breeze (minus the debugging...) #gamedev

Back to it! Rested and invigorated after a great #GDC, we've stripped out the fluff on our prototype and have been drilling down to basics to address the shortfalls in v0. Lots to show soon, but for now, I'm thinking about calling the game "Pills with Guns" #screenshotsaturday #gamedev #godot

Can #chess players help me with a deeper understanding of this position? I get that white is trying to get out of the checks but I don't understand why the line of 1. Kf2 Qf5 (apparently Qd4 is forced mate?) 2. Kg1 is the only win. Black seems like they can continue to harrass forever...

Quick #screenshotsaturday -- we hit our deadline for our prototype! There are still a few bugs and the art is a bit...not smooth. But there is still a kernel of fun there, so after a weekend off and a postmortem, looking forward to figuring out what's next for it! #gamedev #indiedev #godot

As promised, the grenade effects have been cleaned up. Plus the move input is also a lot nicer to work with now. Unit tags and abilities are coming fast and furious, including sneak attack, aura buffs, and destructible cover! #screenshotsaturday #godot #gamedev

My brother joined the project as a programmer and pushed his first new feature. Now units can throw grenades BOOM BOOM. I'll be cleaning up the animations this week (for everything, not just this) so while this #screenshotsaturday is good, I'm hoping the next one will be excellent #gamedev #godot
