Gave up most social media for my own wellbeing. Let’s see how this goes.

Providence, RI ⚓️ based dad, husband, corporate nerd, indie rock fan, and museum wanderer. Worried about the climate and dreaming about living in a passive house on the coast.

Do yourself a favor and live in a neighborhood where you can walk to a rock show on a Friday night.

Shout out to the preteens who stage dove the entire night. I absolutely loved that people my age (or probably younger) brought their kids — and the kids rocked out.

Bane sounded as loud and energetic as when I saw them play the Red Barn in North Andover back in the mid-90s.

I was testing bikes at Dash yesterday and laughed when a driver honked at me on Vinton to get out of their way. I didn’t.

Would e-bikes work well on those? From what I’ve seen, they’re chonks and would need beefy hooks.

TIME TO REPENT TO OUR WEATHER LORDS

No trains or elevators for me — it’s bike paths out of the city into a mile or two of suburban streets to the office. I’m thinking more about how much space it’d take up in our living room every night.

Ah, that’s definitely something to consider. Our place is less than 1,000 square feet, and the bike will definitely live indoors, so I’m thinking about how much space it’d take up.
