Thanks to the love and support of community, we successfully turned in our enormous stack of petitions on Monday, 3,000+ signatures to help me get on the ballot again for March 2026.

Last week, I spent hours in the car in Avondale, trying to find ICE agents and locate community members, as well as advocate to get folks released who have been detained.

On Saturday, our IPOs from across the Northwest Side and the city came together to get signatures for a host of our progressive electeds, and we collected over 1,000. There was a lot of grief in the room that day, but also a lot of love, and a lot of determination.

In the last week, we have witnessed state-sponsored terrorism. So-called ICE agents, (who knows, since we haven't seen warrants or badges) have been terrorizing innocent people throughout our city.
