Very little of the codex survived to the present, and so the archaeologists have little to work with. However, from surviving images, it is clear that the fertility god in question is some kind of Horned God; possibly related to the Gaulish deity Cernunnos attested in historical times.

When I first read Dune as a teen, I *did* get the idea, and thought the concept of a revolution against the *people who run the computers and AI* was an interesting twist on a well-known SF concept.

Yet with that being said, I fully agree with OOP in the present.
