I feel like fiddling with the ol' obsidian.MD vault today. Part of the problem with my writing productivity is that I haven't streamlined my workflow. Such things take time, and because I'm an amateur, mouse-first, UI-positive geek, I'm on a steep learning curve.

I just noticed - because my carer puts my shopping away - that Tesco had substituted my 4 blocks of own-brand butter with Lurpak. Score!

I did some editing of the opening chapter of the mega-project today, though my editor does the hard part by finding edits to suggest in the first place. Editors are angels.

In the interest of spreading my egg distribution, I'm on Mastodon too now. Without a cross-posting plugin thingy, I'll be copypasta-ing everything manually until another smart person makes one. I know there's one on a git repo, but that's too much geeking for me.

Having a high appetite day when you've had to book a later-than-usual grocery slot due to the Christmas rush is a shitty combo. One more day of rationing to go, and I hope I won't devour the whole order when it arrives, or my stock of freezer meals in the meantime. Fuck fibro.

When I'm writing, sometimes I feel to the core of my bones "What if this project that I've sunk so much time and energy into turns out to be a limp dick?"
So I go play video games, binge watch. and read.
But then I'm consuming amazing stories and that makes me FUCK because FUCK why do I FUCK.
