It's because the Dems openly ignore anything other than "vote or this is your fault! And even if you do, somehow it's also your fault!" Because when Dems have a majority, they can't codify Roe or trans rights because of "norms." But the GOP can fuck the country in two weeks.

This is parallel to how the Democrats shame you that "only if you vote we could fix everything," and yet even when they're voted into a majority of seats in Congress they don't codify Roe, trans rights issues, fix the ACA, or do really anything because of "norms." Then when the Republicans have an iota of power and strip back half a century of rights in less than two weeks, it's more whinning about how it's actually the voters' fault that this is happening for some reason. Even though Dems in the Senate are approving cabinet votes for everyone, nobody tried to stop the Lauren Riley act which is the basis for all the ICE bullshit, and they're basically not doing dog shit. Sure some went and stood outside the USAID while a coup is happening, but cool, glad we're not like publicly calling for impeachment or the FBI to arrest Musk or literally fucking anything because of "norms." But yes, somehow it's the voters fault because the Dems can't do shit with their power, but the GOP can ruin the country in two fucking weeks.
