Someone suggested swans are the #BirdOfTheDay, and it so happens trumpeters arrived locally this week from their northern habitats. Here are some new arrivals, along with a resident beavers swimming by, and coots bobble-heading in the background. #Hiking #Birding #WashingtonState #AltText

Was out camping in Central WA late last week and looked but did not see the comets. Did see a fine crescent moon though.

I did too a couple weeks ago but it was far away, they're from Coast Guard Sector Columbia River, Astoria and Ilwaco.
