Today, Gov. Andy Beshear announced that 2025 was Kentucky’s second-best year on record for new investments within the private sector, with $10.5 billion in projects announced.

After a strong couple of months for our Kentucky economy, the Consensus Forecasting Group has reduced the state's projected revenue shortfall. State law still requires a budget reduction, which I will announce at 12 noon ET via Facebook.com/GovAndyBeshear or Youtube.com/GovAndyBeshear.
In the last 10 days alone, we've celebrated 1,732 new jobs for Kentuckians. That's 1,732 more of our people who can better take care of their loved ones thanks to a good-paying job.

The Post Dispensary in Beaver Dam is officially open as of today, selling safe medical cannabis to eligible Kentuckians! It took other states up to six years to get up and running, but we did it in two while still ensuring a safe, legal process.

As expected, areas of Kentucky did receive snow overnight and we could receive an inch or two more before 10 a.m. ET. KYTC crews have worked through the night, and roadways are mostly clear. We need folks to use caution while driving. Go slow and check snowky.ky.gov.

There is now a winter weather storm warning for areas of northern Kentucky, with other areas of the state under a winter weather advisory. Please take this seriously. Check road conditions at snowky.ky.gov and avoid travel if you’re able. Let’s do what we can to keep everyone safe.

In the 4 years since tornadoes devastated Western Kentucky, we've shown the resilience of Team Kentucky. Together, we've built 254 homes and we're creating 953 rental units. Best of all, we've seen joy return to our families. I thank God for the progress we're making.
