Everytime I watch this trailer i'm filled with the same uncontrollable urge to cry, this was the one that got away and I thought it was truly a dead IP. The fact that it's finally back is with Kamiya and Clovers is like a dream come true, to write old wrongs. Capcom is so back!!!!!!!

It's a beautiful short story with so much love that I think I can recommend this to everyone who just wants to experience something that many in the field do not get a glimpse into. It's a 10/10 and people should watch it.

Like think about it, four of these titles are brand new IP's which are enormous risks in video games and yet Shadow of the Erdtree is there with them? It feels like a placeholder because of the popularity of the game, rather than recognizing originality or the work required of this years new games

Live service games are the exception due to the nature of their work. Shadow of the Erdtree is another excellent expansion in the history of gaming, but i would never call it GOTY when FF7, Wukong, or Metaphor are on this list. Silent Hill 2 RE also exists and many other titles deserve recognition

radahn and mohg so it's not even accessible at the start. honestly this wouldn't be a big deal if it had its own separate category since dlc's should be recognized for their achievements but ultimately I believe a single player expansion will never be good enough for GOTY
