X-Men 97
It's a strong 5/5, basically a classic at this point and recalls why I love the X-Men and every game media about them. The only real criticism I have is that the show is fast, it's only 10 episodes and story arcs are completed blindingly fast that it just sorta ends when you want more

Planet of the Apes trilogy
Finally got around to watching these movies and it was pretty great. Any movie that's about the emancipation of your species is always a banger and very rarely miss. My overall scores are as follows:
Rise: 4/5 (Peak)
Dawn: 5/5 (Peak!!)

I think this is a 8 or 9/10 for me. It's a monster bash movie with an anime as fuck villain and the human component is there to satisfy the people that need humans to connect to. The fights were fun but could be longer honestly. I really hope they make another solo Godzilla movie

It does the MMO setting well and the characters are interesting enough. I like how the MC has actual personality in comparison to other MMO isekais. The pacing is a little weird with the 2nd half of the season. Very interested in S2. 8/10

Gotta say that Silent Hill 2 Remake is pretty easy. Which is not bad! It's just funny to juxtapose remembering my young self think omg this is terrifying! to me wielding a 2x4 like it's a WMD to a small town

I'm not invested in this show at all. S1 was okay, S2 was better imo but I still don't really care about the drama. The family drama isn't really interesting and it continues to drip feed backstory as if we are supposed to care. Where is this plot going? 7/10 will watch but don't care

I'm still processing this movie, but I did enjoy it. You really can't find a movie that is paced like a Miyazaki film. It's like you're riding down a lazy river that picks up and slows down when it needs to. By the time you come to, you end up enjoying the experience

It's aight. Main complaint is the acting is not the best and the bending movements are mumbo jumbo. The show is passable if you want a condensed version of the show. I sincerely hope the 2nd season improves in basically every aspect. 6/10

I can see why people say this is peak story for the Yakuza franchise. The highs are enormous and the lows are almost nonexistent. Not a fan of the combat still. Majima's story is easily the best part as Kiryu is...the same character as he's always been. 10/10

Howl's Moving Castle
I can see why Miyazaki said this was his favorite work. I'm not familiar with the source material, but I found this adaptation to be phenomenal. It's interesting how Ghibli films double as a drama AND slice of life which dictates its pacing. 10/10

Couldn't even bring myself to finish the game. Some PS2 games age well, but the first one of the franchise doesn't. I love the franchise but couldn't get through it sadly. The best part of the game is still the voice acting and I appreciate what it does. 6/10

I'm completely jaded with this. One the one hand the story is phenomenal and a great epilogue to Kratos's past and what it means to heal with time. On the other hand, I've come to despise the combat and the types of enemies it forces you to fight. 8/10

A perfect and cute pokemon show, easy to watch and just a relaxing grand ole time. I sincerely hope they do more with this as Psyduck is immensely cute and the MC is also trying to escape corporate life which is completely on point. 10/10
