Especially when scheduled during a typical surge every year. Like, just say you don't care and won't consider it - don't pretend like you're monitoring, listening, or willing to modify your behavior based on data. Your "data" is "What is everyone around me doing? Nothing? Cool!" Just be honest.

i know yall do not want to hear it. you wanted to believe biden when he said you could forget them, when he tempted you with a return to a rosy recent past. but the behavior chosen— to eschew mitigation— is what ultimately shut the door on those possibilities. reach toward them again— mask up.

I will say that listening to @criticalrole.bsky.social over the last 7 years got me accustomed to being able to juggle working or doing tasks while absorbing a story. It made me a more skilled listener!
