A body I once learned to fear.
Twice the health challenges most people can’t imagine. Still, I trained, I sacrificed, I showed up every day.
Yesterday, I made my comeback to the stage. 1st place in Women’s Physique at NFF Championships.
And I’m not finished.

Next week marks five years since my first cancer diagnosis.
In that time—two cancers, two surgeries, radiation, pre-cancer. Everything has changed.
But without the version of me who faced it all, I wouldn’t be who I am today. And who I am today will be amazed by what’s ahead.

Two years ago today, I had my thyroid removed because of cancer.
My second cancer.
Two years of waking up early to take meds that help me function.
Two years of learning how to live in this body again.
Two years, two cancers.
I don’t know what to do with these days anymore.
