This and theie dev team's previous game, Streets Of Rage 4 are my two favourite modern beat 'em ups, both just feel so good to play and I'm slowly getting better at Absolum as I go along. It really feels like a modern take on GOlden Axe and the two Dungeons & Dragons beat 'em ups.

I played a buinch of the Atari 2600 version of Jungle hunt at a friends back in the day. I only recently discovered it got reskinned again and became Pirate Pete thanks to the recent Evercade Taito arcade cartridges.

And it's not like a corner at the edge of the level, it's the whole open floor area of the room that you start off the level on. You ride tje gongs o to that lowestnlevel and yoi cam't get them back up again amd you need to ride one up a ramp on the (slightly) upper level to fimish the lavel.

I used to have the lovely portfolio of the concept paintings he did to help sell the movie to execs. It may still exist somewhre at my folks' house.

The Nintendo exclusive musou games are always a blast, it would be an immediate pick up if I get a Switch 2, but can't justify a whole new system just for a couple of games (this and Metroid Prime 4)
