The BBC has always been part of my life and I have thoroughly enjoyed and valued lots of its content. I have also struggled with coverage of: The various wars the UK was involved with, the Scottish independence referendum, Gaza and Farage et al (amongst other things).

Big business has been in charge for some years now. Governments kowtow at every turn.

If it’s any consolation, Mariella Frostrup was great.

I really hope the bully who was booted in the bollocks was called ‘Billy’ or ‘Bobby’.

The public sector is shafted by the private sector whenever possible. Specifically the private companies that provide travel agency and facilities management services. Lots of the stuff that’s supplied - like cleaning and stationery supplies - is garbage (but costly).

When I was young, the Range Rover seemed to be the epitome of countryside chic. Nowadays, one would be embarrassed to drive one.

The folks who cry ‘antisemitic’ at every opportunity have really got Starmer on the run.
