Positive news for Rothesay Pavilion!

The A-listed gem is approaching the final stages of a long restoration and will reopen in 2027 as a vibrant hub for the community, visitors, and creatives.

AHF has supported Millport Town Hall with over £40k in #HESsupported grants since 2018 supporting its regeneration.
Closed since 2012, the 1878 hall officially reopens today under community ownership as a vital island hub, meeting & performance space & income generating flats for Cumbrae community.

Really pleased that work will start next year on repairing the Category A-listed Soutar’s Shop in Birse, enabling the unique time capsule to open to visitors. We have supported this project with a series of William Grant Foundation and #HESsupported grants.

Quite an achievement by the BBC to write about this ash without mentioning the single most remarkable thing about it, which is that it's the last survivor of a row of trees that were there as early as 1857.
