I can't even begin to imagine how much of a nightmare it's been to work under the Xbox banner for the past 18 months. There's no way any developers in any of those studios have felt secure in their jobs over the past 18 months.

Yeah, I feel like these sorts of games just LOOK kind of jank in trailers. I still think Avowed looks jank, but that game has really fun combat.

They're both SO right and SO wrong

I have this on my Steam wishlist and I'm debating grabbing it. I've been using the Doom games as a chaser to E33, so something like this might be nice to level out again with.

I have a 9800X3D CPU and a 4070 Ti Super GPU, so I'm able to play at basically maxed out settings without much trouble, but I have noticed Dark Ages doesn't run anywhere near as well as Eternal did, and to this point, I haven't noticed much of a graphical quality upgrade to justify that.

it WILL be the single best game you play all year

I liked Doom's and Eternal's music, but honestly, neither OST was one I found SUPER memorable. I know I'm in the minority there, and if Mick was entirely truthful, then absolutely fuck Bethesda, but I'm not exactly hearing a massive drop in quality in Dark Ages.

Hang in there, moving is NEVER fun.
