A Ph.D. is a degree. I'm sure some uni will award a degree to an AI at some point for PR. And it will therefore have a "Ph.D. level intelligence." Intelligence should be measured differently than degree level, for both humans and AI.

I feel a good definition of intelligence is important because of the AGI talk. OpenAI is saying they are close to AGI or "super intelligence." I have a hard time believing that based on the current AI. I feel they are lowering the bar way too much.
