I'm worried about EO 14110 being rescinded. Some big AI companies already exhibit a lack of safety in their products. The EU laws could be a safety net if we don't have something in place. Only time will tell.

Another question(s) - What is intelligence? Do these AI have actual intelligence as compared to a human? What about intelligence between humans vs. AI vs. animals?

I've been learning about AI for my work. It has brought up some philosophical questions for me. Like: Are LLMs that predict the next word really how humans process information? Initial thought - at a basic level, sure, as it is how we form sentences. But some humans think in concepts not words.
