In the end the self check-out queue just got longer and longer.

In the end the self check-out queue just got longer and longer.
I just witnessed a scenario where 3/4 self-checkout registers had people scanning more than 30 items. Since we as shoppers aren't working the registers as a profession, we generally are much slower as compared to the employees

I'm beginning to think that self-checkouts might not be as time-efficient as compared to manned cash registers.
