I know they’re trying to turn this shooting into Dealey Plaza with their desperate camera angles and excuses for the murderous ICE officer but how do they explain the subsequent refusal to allow a doctor to reach the car? And lying that they already had medics there? All on tape.

Hindu Right has an Israel envy. It is reflected in the desire to copy Israel's lobbying model in the US. That has failed miserably in the past few months.

In @themorningcontext.bsky.social I look at the reasons for this failure, where Modi wasted a decade of India's foreign policy energies.
When it comes to lobbying in the US, Indian-Americans are not Jewish Americans
India tried to build an Israel-style lobby in Washington, DC. But money, race and ideology have kept Indian-Americans from becoming a political force.

It's bike infrastructure.
Even though nobody wears bike helmets in the Netherlands, the fatality rate there is significantly smaller than that of the United States. What have they figured out that we haven't?
How I Learned to Cycle Like a Dutchman

A sign that the helmet did exactly what is supposed to do.

I live in the Netherlands. The answer to the question "what has NL figured out?" is: years of development. Before the 1970s there was no bike infrastructure, we were car centric. Now we're bike-centric. Took a while though

That so many in our public life, in our 'liberal' media, have just memory-holed 10 years of nonstop incitement and abuse from him is shameful.
