For all my criticisms of metroid prime 4’s sidekick thing, and thinking the desert doesn’t look that alluring, it’s very weird to me that peoole are calling it “open world” when it very much looks like one open area to go between several non-open ones
It’s like calling OoT Hyrule Field open world
