hello cis friends
this is what people mean by trans genocide

if a type of person does not officially exist, then any harm against them cannot be measured or reported

this headline change isn't even being caused by an executive order

it's simply the NYT editors deciding we don't deserve to exist

Our book is about building a compiler for a toy, compile-to-Wasm language.

At some point, we starting wondering…what's the smallest possible WebAssembly compiler? Could you make one that fits in tweet? 🤔

The answer is yes!

A WebAssembly compiler that fits in a tweet
Starting with a 192-byte one-liner that implements a Reverse Polish Notation arithmetic compiler, we'll work backward to transform it into readable JavaScript by removing one code golf trick at a time

Went to the train museum in Wilmington NC this weekend and was pleased to see an excellent collection and exhibit on railroad telegraphers. They had a working J-38 Straight key and J.H. Bunnel sounder for people to use and I adjusted the contacts. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

So I'd start by looking up any retro games you enjoy and see if there is anything that sounds interesting to you! I really like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, and there is a team working on Red Rescue team. Here is a great starting point for gba games www.starcubelabs.com/reverse-engi...

If you are interested in learning how compilers work and working on assembly, C, and reverse engineering, please consider helping decompile retro video games!! There is a lot of work to be done!
