I want this but I'm in europe :(

I'm going to "opt-out" by switching browsers entirely. Nobody asked for this, nobody wants this, nobody accepts this. If the features were optional they would be opt-in rather than opt-out; making them on by default is forcing AI on users, even for the briefest of moments until they "disable" it.

Firefox is not listening to its users if they think including AI-anything as opt-*out* rather than opt-*in* is acceptable. It reads as, "maybe we can fool some of them into acceptance by making it opt-out". It degrades users' trust. Whether the intention or not, that is the optics of it.

Why does it have to be opt-OUT? Why can't it be opt-IN? I don't want to turn off options and live with the AI components within the browser. I not only want the whole thing to be opt-IN for those who desire it, but an option to not have AI component within Firefox in the first place. I'd even pay.

In a situation where I'm working all of the time and about to move and have no time it's not really an ideal moment to try to meet new people, again maybe someday when things stabilize

It's kind of hard to make new friends the older I get. I used to have people to play d&d with but everyone has kind of gone their seperate ways, only my girlfriend is interested in playing, maybe someday who knows
