And maybe you, an anonymous social media account, are lying in order to sow division amongst opponents to Trump, who you actually support? Guess we can’t know! But I’m much more likely to trust people who use their actual name.

“I think Trump and centrist liberals are the same.”

Amazing.

It’s literally all words. They’re columnists, their words are their actions.

So you’re saying the “vibe” is the literal opposite of the words written in the publication, and then based on that straw man you attack it. Cool.

The fact that designers seem to believe that “missing middle” homes *must* have stairs and can’t bring themselves to design accessible buildings has pushed me into the Large Buildings Only camp.

As a guy who gets around Somerville with leg braces and a cane, these improvements have made a world of difference, especially on grocery runs with the cart in tow. So glad we’ve been able to advance on accessibility while keeping the trees!

At least the sprawl doesn’t cast shadows! It’d be terrible to have more shade, in fact just today I was walking down a sun-drenched sidewalk so thankful that there was no shade because our government used its power to make sure there wouldn’t be any! 🙏

Granted, most human drivers in Austin would run over a child too.

Stop banning apartments. People who live in apartments are not “parasites” as the Supreme Court proclaimed in Euclid v. Ambler.

Absolutely right. Many regulations are bad faith, antisocial regulations. For example, zoning exists because the Supreme Court thought that people who live in apartment buildings are “parasites” (their word) on communities.

Sounds like you are reinforcing that. Do you trust the messengers? If not, why not?

Sorry what? No it doesn’t.

Incredible arrogance and callousness on the part of the officials. What is even their theory of how this serves and protects the public?
Thanks for sharing.

Not a Somerville thing. The MA plumbing board disapproved of them in Oct 2023. Cambridge hasn't installed any new ones since then either.
